Important: Make a Wish GTS is on semi-hiatus!
WARNING for Black2/White2: The game will freeze when you select GTS Negotiations -> Trade Rendezvous while your DNS is set to Make a Wish GTS. We can't hijack this function because it tries to open an encrypted connection (and needs the correct SSL certificate). There's no fix for this yet. Please try to avoid selecting it.
We're basically just two people stemming this project while I'm the one who does the support and breeds those Pokemon you request. What made me do this is that there are other things in my life that take up my time and I rather learn something new than doing repetitious work like RNG-breeding Pokemon. I was very excited when I started the project and there are so many hours of work in it that I can't bring myself to shut it down. So as long as I have money to pay for the server, the GTS will stay online. I do see that there's still a lot to do in the Make a Wish GTS codebase. I'd like to improve the storage page, the request page, finally implement a move checker, etc. For now, I have no motivation to do all this but this might as well change. My Pokemon playing habits have always been burst-like, so there were times when I was totally indulged in it and times when I didn't touch it for months. Because there won't be any new bred Pokemon anymore, I've decided to let the ones we have rotate, as well as put up a different event Pokemon each day. Yes, the good news for you is that you'll eventually get all the event Pokemon we have in the database. When I get to do it I will still add new events so you don't miss out on the new ones and fix all the bugs you throw at me. See you again!
The tl;dr version:
Storage and everything will stay online.
Only requests won't be granted anymore. Bred/caught (non event) Pokemon will rotate, there won't be any new ones.
However, a different event Pokemon is put online each day!
New events will still be added and bugs fixed.
